Minecraft 1.21.6 Resource Packs
recently updatedMinecraft 1.21.6 has officially landed under the name Chase the Skies, released on June 17, 2025, and it brings a variety of imaginative new elements to the game. As expected, Minecraft 1.21.6 resource packs are already available, with creators updating their texture packs to match the latest version so players can enjoy the refreshed world in full detail. One of the most unique additions is the introduction of happy ghasts — a gentle, rideable version of the traditional ghast. These friendly creatures can carry up to four players at once through the air, offering a brand-new way to explore the skies. To ride them, players will need the newly added harness, a special item that makes the passive ghast mountable. Beyond that, the update fine-tunes gameplay with improved shears and leads, adds the ability to craft saddles, and expands the game’s soundscape with new ambient music and the “Tears” music disc. Multiplayer gameplay benefits from the new player locator bar, helping players find each other more easily. Visually, Java Edition gains atmospheric environmental fog, while Bedrock Edition gets a boost with the sleek new Vibrant Visuals feature.

When you think about resource packs, the Overgrown Flowery GUI is probably not something that you would associate them with. By now, we’re all used to the regular packs that change most of the textures inside the game, including blocks, tools, mobs, and everything else that you can see and…
The Low on Fire resource pack by Haikis is one of those rare exceptions we’re happy to make, because while we usually don’t cover tiny packs — the ones that barely touch the game’s visuals — sometimes a small change can have such a big effect on gameplay that it’s…
When it comes to Minecraft resource packs, there is a big craze for high-resolution textures and photorealistic visuals. However, some of the most popular resource packs do not have high-resolution textures and pretentious features. The Pollachius resource pack is one such example that proves less is more. Built to be…
