Even though the graphics have improved a lot over the course of time, a lot of players prefer to play with what they know and love, out of a sense of nostalgia. And this is what the Golden Days resource pack will give you, a blast from the past Minecraft style – it’ll allow you to play with the beta graphics! Few resource packs will achieve this level of fidelity. The Golden Days texture pack will allow you to play like you used to – and it’s such a good duplicate you’ll think you’re playing Minecraft beta like you used to.

This isn’t merely a duplicate, though. It’s much more than that. The Golden Days resource pack not only will bring the old-school Minecraft back but will also improve upon the old ways. There are plenty of things to feel nostalgic about and new elements that will surprise you like no other. It’s a new look on the old graphics. This pack’s textures are beautiful, an improvement over the ones Minecraft had in its beta stages. Noisy textures are almost non-existent this time around. There are also a few surprises in-game for anyone who wants to take a look! The Golden Days has a resolution of 16×16, the same one you used when you played the beta version. As long as you have a computer that can handle vanilla Minecraft, you won’t face any framerate issues and you will be ready to play.

How to install Golden Days Resource Pack:
- Most resource packs require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – general recommended step for all packs, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the Golden Days texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of Minecraft, the one you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client through the Minecraft launcher.
- On the main menu, click "Options".
- On the options menu, click "Resource Packs...".
- Click on "Open Resource Pack Folder". – folder titled "resourcepacks" will pop up
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step to the newly opened "resourcepacks" folder.
- Click "Done".
- Click on "Resource Packs..." again.
- Your pack should have appeared in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes, when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it does not affect your gameplay in anyway, and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by simply clicking the "Yes" button when prompted.
- Click "Done" again.
- The pack has now been successfully loaded and ready to be used in your world!

Before commenting that the resource pack crashed your game, google your crash log. This is usually a graphic card driver issue.

the texture of the skeleton and the cow are purple and black….. this didn’t happen with the older versions of the pack. solve it thanks. I’m a fan of the package

some textures dont change (wheat, doors, armour) does anyone else have this?

You just need a texture pack called “Programmer Art” on top of the normal one and then everything works.

I love the pack but have one suggestion for a fix: could you perhaps make it so that leather armour can be dyed? I feel that this is one of the additions that it missed by your pack since all leather items simply appear brown, even when dyed.

On servers it glitches the UI. All the texts, textures etc. are gone or just completely black. Issue persists even when leaving the server. Only solution is a full restart of the game.

Awsome texture pack!! But there are some problems with finding specific ores such as Blackstone coal and netherite and much more. It just seems really hard to spot some ores.
Please fix this issue if you can I really love this texture pack.

how can i revert the chest back to normal? i’ve been trying to do it but anytime i try to, it just makes the models be invisible. (also i have no idea how to make the trapdoors sound normal, but im not that bothered with that tbh).
