Many Minecraft players know how frustrating it can be to spend hours searching for a resource pack that fits both your style and the way you like to play, only to feel like nothing quite hits the mark. No single pack will satisfy everyone, but if you enjoy a simple look without visual clutter, Back To Basics resource pack is an option that deserves your attention. It offers a clean, minimal design that stays close to the default Minecraft style, while smoothing out details and giving the game a more polished feel. The result is familiar and comfortable, but still noticeably refined once you start playing. This pack focuses on small improvements that add up over time.

Blocks and items feel clearer and more consistent, which can make building and exploring easier on the eyes. It keeps the spirit of the original textures, so it does not feel like a completely different game, but it does remove some of the rough edges that can stand out after long sessions. That balance is part of what makes it appealing to players who want Minecraft to look cleaner without losing its identity. Because the visuals are straightforward and not overly detailed, some players may also notice a small performance benefit, especially on lower end systems. It is not a guaranteed FPS boost for everyone, but the lightweight pack can be a welcome bonus alongside the refreshed look. Back To Basics may not be the single best clean texture pack out there for every player, but it is definitely worth trying if you want a smoother, more minimal version of vanilla Minecraft.
Back To Basics should be compatible with all of these Minecraft versions: 1.10.2 - 1.10 - 1.9.4 - 1.9

Anyone who is wondering, if you are running Windows hold the windows key (left of ALT) and press ‘R’. Then type in %appdata% and when the explorer window comes up, double click on .minecraft.
Great pack by the way! I love everything about it, especially since I am a simplistic person!
The only thing i disagree with is the grass color, I feel like it is too bright green.
