Moderna HD textures are one of the cleanest that have been experienced for some time. One of the problems in many packs in this class is that there is too much noise in some textures mainly due to the unnecessary amount of detail packed into them. But Moderna is exceptional as it doesn’t have the noise problem because it doesn’t overflow its textures with more than necessary details and tries to make the graphics to be elegant in any means possible. Moreover, Moderna HD tries its best to make some subtle changes in the textures of game elements as well as in the user interface. Although these changes aren’t that worthy of attention, they significantly improve the visuals hence making the experience to be more engaging. In other words, it improves the game visuals by focusing on the modern designs of the Minecraft world. Moderna HD textures have 32 × 32 resolution (which isn’t so high) thus you won’t experience issues like frame-rate even when playing Minecraft on a low-end PC.

How to install Moderna HD (Modern Craft) Resource Pack:
- Most resource packs require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – general recommended step for all packs, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the Moderna HD (Modern Craft) texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of Minecraft, the one you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client through the Minecraft launcher.
- On the main menu, click "Options".
- On the options menu, click "Resource Packs...".
- Click on "Open Resource Pack Folder". – folder titled "resourcepacks" will pop up
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step to the newly opened "resourcepacks" folder.
- Click "Done".
- Click on "Resource Packs..." again.
- Your pack should have appeared in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes, when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it does not affect your gameplay in anyway, and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by simply clicking the "Yes" button when prompted.
- Click "Done" again.
- The pack has now been successfully loaded and ready to be used in your world!

If you would like to play with this texture pack, have you tried launching version 1.8.9. That is the version that I am currently playing on. It may not be the most new, but you can use that version for every mod/texture pack. If you need help in knowing how to change it, please reply back to this message.

I also use version 1.10.2. Even though it’s for 1.9 it works well enough with later versions. Just that new items added in 1.10 will be set as the default look.
