BetterVanillaBuilding is a Minecraft’s resource pack which is specially designed for the builders, who wants more realistic textures which can transform their houses or building look much greater than they often do. How to install BetterVanillaBuilding Resource Pack:
- Most resource packs require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – general recommended step for all packs, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the BetterVanillaBuilding texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of Minecraft, the one you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client through the Minecraft launcher.
- On the main menu, click "Options".
- On the options menu, click "Resource Packs...".
- Click on "Open Resource Pack Folder". – folder titled "resourcepacks" will pop up
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step to the newly opened "resourcepacks" folder.
- Click "Done".
- Click on "Resource Packs..." again.
- Your pack should have appeared in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes, when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it does not affect your gameplay in anyway, and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by simply clicking the "Yes" button when prompted.
- Click "Done" again.
- The pack has now been successfully loaded and ready to be used in your world!

Hi! I love using this texture pack since it still stays true to vanilla but enhances certain things. I was just wondering if there was a pay to edit the colour of the XP bar? I found a way to edit the text colour and orb colour but I’ve been having trouble finding a way to edit the bar colour itself.

Only texture pack will work on Bedrock Edition. Just don’t forget to download Bedrock Edition. The download file must be .mcpack for that specific resource pack.

I downloaded the bedrock version and nothing changed. Even opening the .mcpack file to compare the files to vanilla showed no changes on any of them. is Bedrock version a work in progress or just a placeholder link?

I am having an issue with this texture pack, where the chickens(I can only see the legs, bottom of the body, and front side of the head) and skeleton(I can only see the wrappings that go around the head) mobs are appearing half invisible, is there something on my end that I need/can fix or is this an error with the texture pack itself?

Great. The best texture pack for common gaming i think. But there is some problem after update to 1.18.2. Most of the objects has some weird white “hitbox” but for blocks. Its only showing on grass, sand, tall grass, dry bush and this kind of objects.
