We all know our fair share of resource packs that modify the game’s graphics and textures – there are countless of them online right now for you to try. But what about modifying something that will be a big part of your screen most of the time, even though it is often overlooked? That’s what Colourful Containers GUI resource pack is here to do – it will change your Minecraft’s user-interface and make the game look more appealing at the right time. Minecraft’s vanilla GUI looks dull and isn’t a sight to see. It most definitely needs freshening up. More importantly, it looks like it crashes onto the game, it doesn’t blend in. Those mistakes and other poor design choices are fixed when you decide to install Colourful Containers GUI. This resource pack will take care of all containers’ GUI, such as chests, enchanting tables, furnaces, you name it.
Featured video:
This is the go-to resource pack for both new and veteran players who want to add a little change to Minecraft, but not a complete and total graphic overhaul. Colourful Containers GUI will modify a little bit of the game, and create a big change for the better. This resource pack has one goal in mind, to create the perfect in-game interface. That way, the game will look great, even when you are browsing through different containers. Even though it might not be much, it makes Minecraft an even more colorful and pleasant experience. Colourful Containers GUI uses the standard 16×16 resolution. Keep in mind this resource pack will only modify a little part of the game, so you will probably have no issues whatsoever if you decide to install it – as long as you can run vanilla Minecraft already. You won’t have to worry about framerate issues because of heavy textures, all you have to do is take a look at your newly-found interfaces – that will look amazing!
Colourful Containers GUI should be compatible with all of these Minecraft versions: 1.21.11 - 1.21.10 - 1.21.9 - 1.21.8 - 1.21.7 - 1.21.6 - 1.21.5 - 1.21.4 - 1.21.3 - 1.21.2 - 1.21.1 - 1.21 - 1.20.6 - 1.20.5 - 1.20.4 - 1.20.3 - 1.20.2 - 1.20.1 - 1.20 - 1.19.4 - 1.19.3 - 1.19.2 - 1.19.1 - 1.19 - 1.18.2 - 1.18.1 - 1.18 - 1.17.1 - 1.17 - 1.16.5 - 1.16.4 - 1.16.3 - 1.16.2 - 1.16.1 - 1.16 - 1.15.2 - 1.15.1 - 1.15 - 1.14.4 - 1.14.3 - 1.14.2 - 1.14 - Bedrock Edition - PE

Just incase you didn’t know, here are the steps:
1. In files, type %appdata%
2. Press .minecraft
3. Press resourcepacks
4. Drag the resource pack you downloaded into resourcepacks
5. If it needs optifine, press optifine in the minecraft launcher after installing optifine
6. Once minecraft is loaded, go to ‘options/resource packs’ and then select the resource pack.
7. If it is red and says it is not able to be used, either it will work, work but be bugged, or not work at all.
Hope this helped! :3

Is this ever going to come for 1.17?
mykehdoom
I hope so. :( this is one of my favorite resource packs.
Mystic_inn4
You can open the file after extracting it, open the pack.mcmeta file and then just edit the number to make it suitable for the version you want, so 7 for 1.17 and 8 1.18 and 1 for 1.8.9
nou
i tough it was pe but good container keep on the good side <3
clover
It’s available for bedrock, and Pocket edition is also bedrock edition :)
SuperTechDiamond
This is an amazing texture pack!
I love this texture pack however the minecart chest opens what you previously looked into if its a chest, ender chest or barrel. Going into anything else shows a barrel

OlivierXDLOL

sami
the truth is one of my favorite textures from now on because of the detail that they mojang / microsoft have not wanted to add and this would attract the attention of more public.
Thingsneverwork
ive been loosing my mind trying to get this texture pack to work, anyone got advice?
I 100% agree
Yeah this is this not even working… I got my hopes up to but even when I did everything they said to do it just would not work.

Loaded_Gun_

BloodyDubstep

Diestroe
Yeah, I’ll be using this for now on. Only things missing are the Smithing Table, Barrel, Chest Minecart. and Beacons. Maybe there could be UI changes for villagers and horses. All that aside, I love this so keep up the great work!
HerobrineZombie
could you make a dark mode version of this?
its a great texture pack and I think it would be better if there was a light and dark version
Igor Ferreira
Best resource pack.
Just missing barrels tho :/
Guy
I’ve tried repackaging this.
Cannot get it to show up as an option. This is the only resource pack that I’ve encountered with this behaviour, is it possible to have the developer correct it?
Admin
Your .zip should contain nothing but pack.png, pack.mcmeta, and the assets folder.
We always provide a link to the official website / source so that any of our visitors can contact the author directly.
Nexo
could you do a more Blocky version?
cxatch
There’s a missing texture for the smithing table.
Harvey Pangilinan
my minecraft can’t see this resource pack, any way to fix it?
Khaltzane
Yeah I have the same issue. Even tried repacking it myself and it didnt work
Admin
If you don’t see the resource pack, it’s likely the author packaged it incorrectly.
You can easily fix this by unpacking and repacking without the main folder. Your .zip archive should contain mcmeta, txt (in some packs), pack.png (icon) and no other folders besides “assets”.
