BetterVanillaBuilding is a Minecraft’s resource pack which is specially designed for the builders, who wants more realistic textures which can transform their houses or building look much greater than they often do. How to install BetterVanillaBuilding Resource Pack:
- Most resource packs require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – general recommended step for all packs, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the BetterVanillaBuilding texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of Minecraft, the one you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client through the Minecraft launcher.
- On the main menu, click "Options".
- On the options menu, click "Resource Packs...".
- Click on "Open Resource Pack Folder". – folder titled "resourcepacks" will pop up
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step to the newly opened "resourcepacks" folder.
- Click "Done".
- Click on "Resource Packs..." again.
- Your pack should have appeared in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes, when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it does not affect your gameplay in anyway, and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by simply clicking the "Yes" button when prompted.
- Click "Done" again.
- The pack has now been successfully loaded and ready to be used in your world!

skeleton texture is bugged. i can only see their heads. is there any way to fix this because this texture pack is great but i cant play with it on my survival worlds?

I’m having the same problem! my friend’s texture is fine but the skeletons are bugged because all I see is the head and the bow it holds onto when I use it. Im glad I’m not alone but also sad someone else has this bug!

i had a question how do i fix a skeleton texture bug? i used optifine and this texture pack back in 1.17 and everything worked fine but since 1.18 the skeleton texture won’t work. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but it didn’t fix the problem. the optifine is updated too, the weird thing is for me I gave the same file to a friend and it works just fine, hope you could help because its hard to fight a skeleton that’s almost invisible ( I mean this in the fact of you can see the bow and maybe the head.

Hi, for some reason can’t my PC handle the connected textures. When I turn them on, most of the Blocks won’t get load and so do I have lots of Chunk errors. Without connected textures it works (mostly) fine. I have a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1650 graphic card (which isn’t that bad and I gave Minecraft 5GB of RAM. I also installed “immersive portals” and my render distance is 15 chunks.

i used this before but downloaded again for 1.17 and the leaves for trees when theyre different colors (yellow, orange, red, etc) theres a wave of color changement in the trees like something is wrong

Is there a way to edit the textures? I tried changing netherite armor textures to match the weapons but whenever I put it in the resource pack folder it doesn’t show up on Minecraft.

I feel pretty stupid for asking this but no idea how to get to 1.12.2 I know I can put in 1.12 but I want to use 1.12.2 just in case I miss anything. I want to have everything matching in my different add-ons list.

You can always donwload the 1.17.x version of the pack. It will work just fine on minecraft 1.12.2 and will contain all up-to-date textures. It will say “made for a newer version”, but you can simply ignore this message and install it like any other pack.

you guys used sildurs shaders in the photos im having a weird issue with the trees leaves wiggling and there being a brownish leaf block stationary in the same place. so its causing this waving of brown and green in the trees and i really dislike that. is there some way to make them compatible because the trees in the showcase look normal. thank you
