BetterVanillaBuilding is a Minecraft’s resource pack which is specially designed for the builders, who wants more realistic textures which can transform their houses or building look much greater than they often do. How to install BetterVanillaBuilding Resource Pack:
- Most resource packs require Optifine, so be sure to download and install it. – general recommended step for all packs, Optifine is also needed for most shaders
- Download the BetterVanillaBuilding texture pack for Minecraft from the download section below. – if there are many different versions, just choose the one you like, is compatible with your version/edition of Minecraft, the one you think your computer can handle in terms of performance.
- Launch the game client through the Minecraft launcher.
- On the main menu, click "Options".
- On the options menu, click "Resource Packs...".
- Click on "Open Resource Pack Folder". – folder titled "resourcepacks" will pop up
- Move the .zip file you downloaded in the first step to the newly opened "resourcepacks" folder.
- Click "Done".
- Click on "Resource Packs..." again.
- Your pack should have appeared in the left window, just hover over it and click on the arrow pointing to the right.
QUICK TIP: Sometimes, when activating a pack, the game may say that the pack is made for a newer or older version of Minecraft. This is just a warning, it does not affect your gameplay in anyway, and you can still activate and enjoy the pack by simply clicking the "Yes" button when prompted.
- Click "Done" again.
- The pack has now been successfully loaded and ready to be used in your world!

Does not work for 1.21 even though it says so, it requires optifine but 1.21 optifine is not released yet.

Used this in 1.20, but now in 1.21 it causes my game to completely crash when I go into my inventory. Also there are animals with totally messed up textures when used with better animations.

Having the same issue as some other people here: Pigs and Chickens have half invisible/messed up textures. Hope this gets fixed this is my favourite resource pack. :)

I found the cause of the issue. It is not the textures but the models. After turning custom entity models off they look normal again. (Under OptiFine Quality Settings in the ESC menu)

Im having a problem with the rescource pack where, the textures for everything work, but the armor skins and overlays dont work even though I have the addons Im guessing its bc im using 1.20 rescource pack in 1.20.1. If this is the case can someone clarify, and if so how long do you think will it take for the rescource pack addons to update to 1.20.1? Thank you, this Rescource pack looks great btw from what ive seen so far. Keep up the good work.

I have the same issue with the Enchanted Books , First Day all was fine, 2nd it all sudden turned to those checkered squares as well and hasn’t changed since.

So I found a bug with the texture on the skeletons, if you do have fresh animations with this, every other mob is fine. The skeleton’s texture becomes a crown. I think its the quiver on its back. or could be the addon for fresh animations one of the two.
